Product British Kings South Africa Medal Awarded To 3421 Pte. T Edwards, Of The 2nd Battalion Shropshire Light Infantry. Lot includes medal and copy of medal rolls. He served with the 2nd Battalion of the Shropshire Light Infantry. Mr Edwards earned a QSA with Paardeberg, Dreifontein, Johannesburg and Cape Colony clasps and a KSA with 1901 and 1902 clasps. Information Always awarded with the Queens South Africa Medal (QSA), the Kings South Africa Medal (KSA) was awarded to recognise the campaign of 1901-1902 against the Boer Kommando's that did not feature the large set piece battles recognised by the QSA and clasps. It was normally awarded with 2 clasps (South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902), however single/no clasp entitlements do exist and a very rare.
