A superb model of a BR Standard Class 5 No 73142 with Caprotti Valve Gear A rare opportunity to acquire a superb model of a loco type not available in "Ready-to-Run" format. The model was professionally built and painted by John Brighton of Steamlines (Sheffield) from a DJH kit. The loco number is 73142 and the tender is fitted with the late crest The detail and the finish on the model is superb. The loco is fitted with a 17A shedplate (Derby) The loco is fitted with scale 3 link screw coupling on the front buffer beams and is fitted with a bar on the rear of the tender to facilitate coupling up to models with Bachmann or similar couplings. The loco has not been used since construction but has has been test run and is an excellent runner.I will guarantee a full refund if the purchaser is not completely satisfied.
