This is a very cute animal brooch dating from the 1970's.It is gold plated and in the form of a squirrel holding an acorn--very on trend with all the animal motifs in fashion at the moment.The squirrel has a cold painted finish and is set with diamante to add highlights.It is in very good condition with a couple of very minor scuffs to the paint and it has its original pin and safety catch.The brooch measures approx. 4cms x 4 cms.A great looking brooch that would grace any collection.See my owl brooch too.
