For the Kliban collector who thinks they have everything, here is a drawing by B. Kliban's girlfriend who was mentored in drawing by the amazing cartoonist B. Kliban during their relationship. The drawing is original and was given to me as a gift by B. Kliban's girlfriend. I will include an email letter from his girlfriend from 2009 as provenance of this piece. The letter is redacted to exclude personal information, but the detail about Kliban, and the insight you will get into this famously unique artist's personality, is absolutely fascinating. Kliban was best known for his cat drawings, of course, but his interest in other subject matter is evident in this piece drawn by his girlfriend during one of his drawing lessons. While this is not by the artist himself, it is a piece of Kliban history that any collector will be proud to own and hang. Good luck to all!
