These are Professional Quality Tools, please don't confuse these with the cheap, dense liner Forges being sold These reach forging temps at only 4 to 5 PSI and consume only about 1/3 the amount of Fuel as those Cheap Units do . These will not struggle trying to maintain welding heat, and you don't have to peg the needle on your regulator to get welding heat either. These will simply run circles around anything using a dense liner, and the fuel savings alone will make this forge pay for itself in no time. The difference between those big, heavy, dense lined Forges and this Professional Knifemakers Forge is staggering, they are now near each other performance wise. If you've never used them both side by side, it's hard to understand, but after running one of these units next to a dense lined unit, you'll wonder why you ever wasted your time with those cheap forges. I say this because I know from experience. My shop manufactures many forge models, including the Dense Liner models, only difference is, we market them as Hobby Forges, since their performance is unsuitable for in a professional environment.
