This 61 page first draft script, dated Jan. 7, 1983, is of the classic fourth season episode, 'THE FATAL BLOW', of the prime time soap classic KNOTS LANDING. This script has not only all the DIALOGUE and ACTION from the episode but a SET LIST, CAST LIST and SCENE CHRONOLOGY as well. This episode led up to the 1983-84 season cliffhanger. In the story, nightclub singer Ciji Dunne (LISA HARTMAN), has been murdered and everyone is a suspect. Mack heads the investigation. Gary has been questioned by the police and Abby has him sent to detox, using the opportunity to take control of his assets. Richard tries to console a heart-broken Laura who confronts Ciji's bitter mother. Val is eaten up by guilt for her treatment of Ciji and by episode's end, she has confessed. Is she guilty or is trying to clear Gary? And Karen is cocerned for her rebellious daughter, Diana, who is in love with sleazy con man Chip. This episode starred DONNA MILLS, MICHELE LEE, JOAN VAN ARK, KEVIN DOBSON, JULIE HARRIS, MICHAEL SABATINO and TED SHACKELFORD.
