How to know the Wild Flowers by Mrs. William Star Dana For your consideration a very nice Hardcover edition of How to Know the Wild Flowers A Guide To the Names, Haunts, and Habits of our Common Wild Flowers by Mrs. William Starr Dana Illustrated by Marion Satterlee Published by Charles Scribner's Son's 1895 This book is in good shape overall. The 5 1/2" by 8" decorative brown hardboards are good showing some bumping and wear at the corners. Writing on the spine and cover decoration still stands out nicely. Binding is good with all pages of the book held. Endpages shown with bookplate and markings. Some of the illustrations have notes next to them as to where the previous owner was able to find the types of wild flower shown. The book is 372 illustrated pages in length with index and a few pages of advertising in the rear. Great find in this condition at this price.
