Korean War Era U.S. Military Winter Pile Cap, M-Q1. Nice example of iconic Korean War winter cap. This one is a scarce "Cap, Field, Pile, OD, M-Q1" which was an interim design that preceded the standard M-1951 pile cap. These caps eliminated the pile on the visor as found on WWII caps. Nice clean example showing minimal use. Some wear to front of visor. Tie cords may have been shortened. Size: 7 1/4. VG-VG+
