Up for auction is a Korean War Hand Tinted USS Coral Sea Banshee Fighter Jets USN Navy Ship Photo. This piece is from a recently acquired estate of a US Navy four star Admiral, Adm. Lee J. Baggett. Born in Mississippi, Lee Baggett joined the Navy in 1950, and eventually rose to the ranks of Commander in Chief in Europe and U.S. Atlantic Commander. He served during the Korean, Vietnam, and Cold War eras. This week, I will be listing a collection of medals, awards, and other pieces from his world traveling career as a sailor in the United States Navy. So please check out my other auctions for authentic period pieces!Measures 17 1/4" tall x 21 1/8" wide x 7/8" deep. In good condition. On the back is written who is flying and the date, 1951.
