Look! Presenting a rare Korean-war vintage USN-issued G-1 flight jacket! Pristine, dark, grainy goatskin, beautiful original honey-blonde mouton fur collar and 49" chest! Jacket History: USN-issued L.W. Foster 7823 AER Amend 2 jackets like this one are treasured by collectors for their beautiful honey-blond mouton fur collars, supple, dark, grainy goatskin and oversize fit. This is a rare, early Korean-war contract jacket with USN stencil on collar. No USN punches on windflap, which were not specified until later contracts. L.W. Foster Amend 2 G-1's of this size, vintage and condition are near-impossible to find. This is the nicest G-1 flight jacket in my collection, unfortunately it's too large. Jacket Condition: Oustanding vintage condition! All original except for recent NOS wool cuffs and bi-knit waistband. Excellent original liner, crisp black and gold nomenclature tag. Beautiful, original honey-blonde genuine mouton fur collar and smooth-pulling Conmar zipper with bell-shaped brass pull. Pristine, supple, grainy goatskin shell---this is a beautiful vintage G-1 flight jacket! Not cuts, tears or patches ever attached!
