I bought this TR-61 used about six years ago and used it almost exclusively for studio work (pet free, smoke free) and occasional jam sessions. I installed the Korg EXB SCSI expansion board shortly after I got it so you can use it as a sampler, too. The screen is unscratched and clear, all the electronics work fine and all keys are functional and all the read panel connectors work. You will get all the sounds and controls the synth offers.SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT? There are about 8 of the control buttons on the main panel that are hesitant to operate. You have to There are two ("program" and "0") that have come loose although they won't fall out and still work. Again, you have to play with them a bit. I'll warn you this can be a real problem if you're doing fast changes on stage. I've taken the board in for cleaning and repair once before and that helped a lot but over time I think the contact have gotten dirty again. There are dings and scratches on the end panels from the previous owner but it's cosmetic. Note that you're buying the keyboard AS-IS and this is the full disclosure.Comes with original power adapter and SKB hardshell case. I got that used and it was a little big inside so I tuck the extra foam you see in the pics to hold the board in place. Original manulas included too although the cover pages are missing.
