Up for auction is a beautiful hand-blown mid-century modern “Moorhen or Duck” figurine by Kosta Boda Glasbruk , made in Sweden circa 1970 and similar in style to the famous Iittala “Bird Series ” designed by Oiva Toikka .Rare and hard to find, this vintage stylized Swedish Art Glass water bird figurine features a large hollow speckled body with an applied slender red beak. The bottom has the older original worn Boda Handmade Sweden label still attached and the dimensions are approximately 7 1/4" long by 4 1/4" wide by 3 3/8" tall. This delightful “Moorhen” water fowl figurine is in very good vintage condition with little surface marks or wear. There is a nick and a very small chip on the edge of the underside rim, does not detract (please see all photos).A great addition for the collector of wonderful mid-20th century modern Kosta Boda Crystal from Scandinavia ._______________________This will be carefully boxed and shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking information, shipping weight is 3 pounds.I only accept PayPal , payment must be made within two days of auction closing.
