Here we have a Kriegsmarine, Marine Sextant, Mfg. by C.Plath of Hamburg, Germany in 1943. Model #23257 and serial #8077. It is 100% original and complete with all filters,mirrors and optics in excellent condition. The case is the matching numbered case with its original untouched finish. It is in very fine solid condition with no splits, cracks or gouges. Except for a mueseum piece, I doubt one could be had in much better condition. This is from my father-in laws estate and I have many more of his items to list as we decide just what to part with.
