KSF Knights Sherwood Forest Sword/Scabbard Pettibone. is an 1800's-1900's engraved fraternal sword of the KSF Knights of Sherwood Forest made by Pettibone Mfg. Co., Cincinnati OH. This sword measures 37 1/2 inches over all length with a 30 inch blade. This gold washed engraved sword shows an elk leaping a fence and extensive filigree of flu re-de lei's on the blade. The recipient's name "H. W. Pendelton" is engraved on the blade and on the other side, "'K.S.F." and the manufacture's name "The Pettybone/M.F.G.Co/Cincinnati/Ohio". This sword has the knights head pommel, elk and shield symbol on the grip, and the large "K.S.F." emblem on the decorated crossguard. The scabbard has the elk and K.S.F.' emblem (see photos). This is the rare sword of the little known Knights Of Sherwood Forest society and will be an excellent addition to your collection.
