Recent Estate Acquisition Made by Kultaseppa Salovaara Ky This pendant was made by a Finnish manufacturer of silver jewelry that was founded in Turku in the early 1950's. When Finland acquired its independence, it had a large impact on indusrty and commerce. By this time the Arts and Crafts movement had already established roots in Finland. Nearly all of Finnish jewelry exhibits simple designs with smooth curves and lines. The reflect the reductionist approach which employs what is minimal and necessary, but functional and beautiful. Signed 925 Finland with the signature Kultaseppa Salovaara Hallmark. Our pendant measures 1 1/8" l x 13/16" w. The pendant features a 7.5 mm bezel-set light blue glass center stone.
