KYA's Battle Of The Surfing Bands, released by Del-Fi Records (DFLP-1235) in Mono in 1963 out of Hollywood, CA. Original Pressing!- (see photos). *Here you have the very rare original Mono pressing of this all-time classic Del-Fi LP!! This features some seriously killer surf instrumentals by many great groups of the era- The Lively Ones, Challengers, Sentinals, Impacts, Charades, Rhythm Kings, Dave Myers & Surftones, Jim Waller & Deltas, The Biscaynes, The Soul Kings and The Bruce Johnston Band. Marvelous!* The thick Vinyl is visually-graded in VG condition. When looked at under a very bright light, the record shows a very rich luster and a fair amount of very light surface marks. This will play with a very full sound, but a very minimal amount of very minor surface noise will occasionally be heard. This has also been play-graded, and this record truly sounds fantastic. I can't stress enough that this record sounds very very close to perfect, with just a few, very minor pops heard during its entire play. The Cover is graded in VG condition, due to a 1-inch seam-split at the bottom seam. This also shows some fairly minor edge & seam wear, and some very minor ring & crease wear. Overall, it still looks very very nice. I consider my condition grading to be very conservative, and I strive to be very accurate. See my full guarantee below! read more
