This lot is for an original cast penny bank that was made by Kyser & Rex just before 1900. This is a large painted building bank measuring 5 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It has a japanned finish with gold highlights. Kyser and Rex had wonderful detail in their castings. This bank has 22 windows and two doors. One window has a casting flaw in the pane (this is not a break). The original finial turn pin has been replaced and thus selling as is.
