Wood and pewter box, looks like it would hold decks of cards. This box has gorgeous ornate detailing on the sides. The pictures just don't do it justice! The bottom is stamped with "L.F. Grammes and Sons, Allentown, PA USA". The only damage is a watermark from a cup on the top and some slight cracking w the hinges were nailed into the wood (see picture). I really don't know anything else about this. It's been stored in my closet in a non-smoking household. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions. I answer all e-mails within 24 hours.
