Under glaze finish with the typical Lladro muted colors of white, with tan, blue, grey and green. Our young lady spreads her apron and offers our bunny rabbit some food as the rabbit stands with trust and no sense of fear, she is one with nature ........... HISTORY : The Lladro Company was founded in 1953 by three brothers, Juan, Jose and Vicente Lladro, in the small village of Almacera near Valencia. Beginning with simplistic forms such as vases and jugs, it took three years until 1956 when they started producing the sculptures for which they are now most famous. Worldwide acclaim and enthusiasm for the items produced by the Lladro brothers saw their small workshop expand exponentially until they were eventually forced to moved to their present Tavernes Blanques location in 1958. Lladro figurines are made out of an original blend of kaolin rich hard paste porcelain, which gives the figures their unique base porcelain appearance.
