A very unusual ladies quartz wristwatch with abalone or mother of pearl?? face and band.Face is marked "Pearl" and "quartz".Case is gold coloured, not sure if gold plated. It has roman numeral markers on the outer case itself.Case back is stainless steel.The strap is flexi type in stainless steel but with attractive slices of MOP or abalone shell covering each segment of the band. There is one small piece of this shell which has cracked off (visible in the main photo, 4th segment from the bottom of the case).The watch is ticking as I type this but the second hand seems to get "stuck" every so often and therefore loses time. I'm not sure if it simply needs a new battery or if there is another problem present.An interesting piece for your collection or maybe for parts.Please only bid if you are willing to accept the item "as is" as I will not accept returns on vintage watches such as this.
