Lalique designed many containers for toiletries and beauty products for his parfumeur friends, especially Coty, D'Orsay and Forvil. This powder compact is decorated with the classic Coty motif of the ladies swans down puff with its turned wooden handle. This puff motif was still being used even on plastic compacts right up to the 1960s. This a round cream plastic compact. The lid is decorated with a coated paper picture of the famous Puffs. Still sealed on its original backing paper. Reads : COTY AIRSPUN PRESSED MOISTURIZING POWDER COMPACT World famous Airspun powder in a silky blend of microfine powder and rich moisturizers.
