The following item and many similar items were collected by my late brother who was a scootering enthusiast and committee member of the District Vespa & Lambretta Club of Colchester up to his untimely and sudden passing in 2004. I have kept these items in his memory but realise that they will only sit forlornly on a shelf for evermore unless I find a new home for them with someone who might be as enthusiastic about scooters as he was. It is not without a heavy heart that I have decided to offer them here on ebay. This no reserve auction is for: "YOUR SCOOTER How to Choose, Manage and Maintain It" This book is old (about 1960) and in tatty, well used and grubby condition. There is some pencil and biro hand writing inside the cover. It was published by Temple Press Ltd. and written by Bernal Osborne.It is packed with much usable and useful information and diagrams (about 170 pages) and it measures about 130 x 195mm. They can be posted (recorded delivery) for £2.95 to UK mainland, £7.80 to Europe and £12.80 rest of the world. This means nationally by "Royal Mail second class recorded delivery" up to 1kg, "Royal Mail first class recorded delivery" for items up to 2kgs and by carrier for items above 2kgs. Internationally this means "Royal Mail International Signed For" for up to 2kgs and by carrier for items above. These options do incur additional costs but since adopting these measures almost every item has arrived with its buyer, it also complies with Paypal requirements. I am happy to meet buyers of larger items at Bury St Edmunds train station at no extra cost. Buyers can also collect by prior appointment. International bidders are always welcome and packages can be sent worldwide. Please understand that some destinations will be expensive and delivery prices should be agreed prior to bidding. Additional insurance can be provided at extra cost if required. Note that all delivery charges include cost sums for packaging materials and time expended. MULTI PURCHASES I am always happy to combine delivery costs when several items can be packaged together . PAYMENT Prompt payment by Paypal is preferred. Cheques, echeques via Paypal, bankers drafts, postal orders and cash on collection are also acceptable. International buyers must make payment by Paypal only. No items are despatched until payments are fully cleared .
