For auction is Official Umbro Chelsea home jersey from 2003-2005 season with LAMPARD 8 on the back. Size: L Made in: China Name / Number: LAMPARD / 8, flock felt material Condition: Mint This shirt is reversible Shirt as worn by Chelsea at the start of the Roman Abramovich era when he purchased the club in 2003. It is in great condition for it's age and a fantastic example of an iconic shirt. Players to wear the shirt; Hasselbaink, Lampard, Gudjohnsen, Makelele, Drogba The first season wearing the shirt, The club were managed by Claudio Ranieri and finished 2nd in the Premier League. They also reached the Semi-Finals of the Champions League before bowing out 5-3 on aggregate against Monaco of France. The second season was the start of something special. Abramovich recruited the self proclaimed "Special One" Jose Mourinho from Porto to replace the outgoing Ranieri. The Potuguese led the club to their first title for 50 years and also a trip to Wembley to win the League Cup against Liverpool 3-2.
