Aren't these GREAT! Lancaster County AMISH Socks. . . they do have a reserve as they are very rare survivors and they are in great condition! Tough to find these days in this kind of condition. . . they measure 23 1/2" in length, and the widest part measures about 4 1/2". They are green with red purple white, and blue colored. . . and the socks are knitted in a solid plain pattern with a flat wavey top wide band that was also knitted at the top. . .and would be great to add a little color to any collection! contemporary or antique lovers would appreciate the design quality! color! and condition! Dating from about 1890, they are classic and came from a 40 year collection! with some super real things! These antique textiles transcend their function and period. . . and have become art objects! Wouldn't they be great hanging from the right mantle at Christmas! Keep in mind this pair has not been on the market for years! We guarantee this to be late 19thC with no repair or restoration.
