Lanchester Daimler ld10 1948 with briggs body....sold for restoration....has been in a barn in shroud for some time....there is no v5 document but I have a buff logbook and some old reciepts The engine and gearbox both have fresh clean oil....was told by the previous owner that it had had engine work and this was evident with old conrods,pistons,shell bearings,bare head and a spare gearbox....I had the car turning over and trying to fire but the starter motor didn't quite have enough life to turn it over quick enough....after removing the starter I could see that the armature was worn. The body work needs work to the sills,rear wings and lower wing sections behind the bumper....drivers door glass is cracked as shown....rear seats are good and will ome up well with leather treatment....the fronts have some rips etc as shown....speedo shows 51807 but cannot confirm if genuine....original suppliers enamel name plaque on the glove box from martin walter ltd....original key in ignition....the fan cover needs re connecting as shown. engine is all complete as shown and looks in good condition....there are no bolts holding the bonnet to the hinges....both front wing chrome trims are there along with the Bakelite sprk plug/lead cover but one end is damaged but would glue ok....rear blind is in tact inside and some of the lining has holes read more
