J. Albright, who also signed for himself, as did the Recorder of the General Land Office, John N. Granger). Up in the left corner of this document is an imprint of the American flag, and in the lower left corner a paper seal. This is a federal Land Grant, dated September 10, 1858, relating to 80 acres of land that had been awarded to a former soldier for service in the Was of 1812.
