Lang & Wise Colonial Williamsburg King's Arms Tavern Lang and Wise Town Hall Collectibles Colonial Williamsburg King's Arms Tavern. Stock Number 284897042 released in 1998 - now retired. This house is one of a collection based on the histories restoration at Colonial Williamsburg. During sessions of the General Assembly in the eighteenth century, the overcrowded taverns of the capital of the Virginia colony became social and political centers. The King's Arms Tavern was one of them. Operated in the 1770's by Jane Vobe, it was considered the most "genteel" and was patronized by a select clientele that included George Washington and revolutionary leader, General Thomas Nelson, Jr., of Yorktown. Item is in mint-condition, still in original box. Comes from a pet, smoke and childfree environment. Will ship via USPS Mail . Insurance optional, but strongly recommended. We package very carefully to avoid damage, but packages can and are mishandled by the Post Office. We will not be held responsible for items damaged in shipment.
