Lang & Wise Colonial Williamsburg Town Hall Collectibles King's Arms Tavern #28489702 During sessions of the General Assembly in the eighteenth century, the overcrowded taverns of the capitol of the Virginia colony became social and political centers. the King's Arms Tavern was one of them. Operated in the 1770's by Jane Vobe, it was considered the most "genteel" and was patronized by a selected clientele that included George Washington and revolutionary leader, General Thomas Nelson, Jr., of Yorktown. This house is mint in the original box with original packaging. Please email with any questions.
