Published by W & R Chambers Limited.FIRST EDITION circa 1914, oblong 4to, 230 x 320 mm, 9 x 12¼ inches, colour illustrated boards, illustrated endpapers. 56 pages. Colour title illustration of a dressed rabbit carrying a large serving dish. 14 good colour plates and numerous drawings in brown line. The book has come adrift from the cover but would not take much to mend as the cover is still in one piece except for scuffs at the top and bottom of the spine. There is a small tear on the top corner of the frontispiece page. All the plates are in Very Good Condition.This is your chance to own this RARE children's book depicting animals with human attributes written in delightful verses.
