This is an awesome hand carved Aztec/Mayan style chess set! The board is quite large, it measures 13.5 x 13.5 inches. The pawns are about 2 inches tall, and the larger pieces (king and queen) are 3 - 3.5.None of the pieces have ever been broken, damaged, or chipped in any way. One note is that I added felt to the bottoms so they'll slide easier over the board.This set is overall very heavy, it's made from nice hefty-feeling marble. It has a great solid feel! The shipping cost will be a little high due to the weight but it's definitely worth it for this great item!Overall this is in like-new shape and would be great for play or as a cool decoration. I've never played on it before - I was just using it for a neat unique display piece.
