First Edition. This is an original 130 year-old map. We do not sell reproductions of any kind! Cartographer Richard Andree. Andree was one of the best known cartographers in Europe in the late 19th century. Early editions of The Times Atlas (London) were based on his work. The map is a high quality chromolithograph printed on very heavy paper -- the heaviest I've seen for a 19th century atlas. Maps from this atlas are printed on both sides of paper. Please check the scanned images below for the complete maps included with this item. Condition The maps we're selling from this atlas are all in excellent condition. There is no foxing, there are no significant marks, and there are no tears. The maps are sturdy and will stand up well to shipping.
