This is a James Upshall hand-made briar pipe at its best. This beautiful Extra Large 1984 Billiard briar pipe was carved from a piece of 100 year old air cured plateaux Grecian briar and has been finished in a transparent rich mahogany staining over 360 degrees of cross grain and bird’s eye to the bowl and shank. Although this pipe has been smoked the tobacco chamber is in mint condition. The black vulcanite tapered mouthpiece bears the J.U. logo and is in as good condition as the day it was fitted.
