Collector is selling the LARGE 1990 Steiff 1926 Replica 65cm "Happy Anniversary" Teddy Bear with ORIGINAL certificate, ORIGINAL Steiff box, and ORIGINAL Steiff cardboard packing box. The EAN is 407239 and the bear's edition number is 4631 / 5000. The bear is in MINT condition, has NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED, has been CAREFULLY, LOVINGLY STORED, and comes from a SMOKE-FREE, PET-FREE home. The Steiff box is in good condition, and the plastic top has tape on the corners. The bear description written on the ORIGINAL Steiff certificate is as follows: "As early as 1907, the Steiff Company in Giengen produced more than 974,000 Teddy Bears, with the button attached to their left ears, sent them into the world. A very loveable exponent of the Teddy Bear generation of the twenties was sold for a sensational record price of $ 86,350 at an auction at Sotheby's, London, in September 1989. Rosemary and Paul Volpp, the present owners, named him "Happy Anniversary". The above event and the bear's charming and lovely appearance have induced Steiff to present in 1990/91 the 'Teddy Bear 1926'". Buyer pays for shipping and insurance is required.
