Up for your consideration is a beautiful Bismuth crystal geode specimen. It measures 1.5 inches across. This specimen was made using 99.99% pure Bismuth. The stair step crystals form as the metal cools from a molten state. As the bismuth cools layers of oxidation form resulting in the beautiful iridescent colors. This item only ships to a US address.Bismuth is a little known metal and is only twice as abundant as gold.It has been successfully transmuted into gold.Bismuth is the most diamagnetic metal on Earth and a magnet can be levitated between two plates of bismuth.It is used in pharmaceuticals including Pepto Bismol.
