This auction is for a lovely, old, waxed, Elm, chest, with black, Iron handles.This wouldmake a great little table, whilst also providing storage in any number of rooms (Toy Box, Log Box, Otterman). It has had layers of paint removed, before being sanded and given several coats of clear wax, to enhance its natural, warm, finish. This is a very solid old chest, with good joints, hinges and handles.There is no lock or key. It has the marks and scarsa you would expect for its age and use. There is a small piece of trim missing from the side of the lid, but this does not detract from its appeal.It measures approx 64cm high, 64cm wide and 47cm deep.I have shown a cost for sending via courier,but collection in person is welcome.Paypal or cash on collection please.Thank you for looking and good luck if you decide to bid.
