Youare bidding on a large antique maple trencher that measures 21 3/8” in length, 13 1/4” in width, and is 4 5/8” tall. This trencher is hand carved from a single piece of wood, has wonderful carving marks on the back, and has a nice dry surface. There are no breaks or repairs on this trencher, and I have not altered the finish in any way. There are a few very tiny holes that are visible on the front and back that are minor insect damage from long ago, as well as some staining and a couple of short shrinkage cracks. These are all shown in close-up photos as best I could and are mentioned for the sake of total accuracy. This is a wonderful primitive piece that is a great large size to add to your country collection. Please see all photos for appearance and condition. ; check my feedbacks.
