Rare LION meerschaum pipe. This is a very well carved meerschaum pipe shaped like a lion's head. It has great detail, especially in the expression and the manes. This pipe has kunstbernstein amber stem and a silver ferrule around the stem. Th epiep is 7-1/8 inches long and in great condition. It has some surface lines in the meerschaum. the meerschaum is pre-coloured. Possibly an early american meerschaum carver such as Demuth, Fischer or Kaldenberg. Ca. 1880. Shipping worldwide is 20.00 GBP for track&trace priority mail, to Europe is varies from 11.00 to 16.00 GBP depending on where you live. Combined shipping is possible, up to 2 kg the price remains the same. If you think this is too much, then please do not bid.
