Up for auction is a large antique sterling silver & amber Pincer Beetle pin with faceted obsidian eyes. The piece measures 2-1/2" long by 1-3/8" wide and weighs 21.2g . The amber setting measures 1-7/16" long by 7/8" wide and 7/16" thick. The pin post has 925 and other markings I cannot identify. The pin is in excellent condition. The pin has been tested and examined for purity and is sterling silver, and has been static tested to be genuine amber. In addition, there are no test marks or cosmetic damage on the piece.
