Take a trip through the Bazaar and see if any of our one of a kind items have found their new one of a kind owners :) This listing is for AnAmazing & LargeAntique Victorian Hand TintedFashion Plate EngravingLe Journal Des Modes This amazing and rare original antique Victorian hand coloured fashion plate is really fascinating.It is quite large and depicts six different ladies who all appear to be attending a ball and are wearing some very fancy gowns.Some are trimmed with fur or decorated all over with rose buds, but my favourite is the one with the purple silk, gold trimmed jacket. Beneath the illustration isLE JOURNAL DES MODES37 Tavistock Street, Covent Garden, London WCIt is unusual to have survived in such good condition.The paper is very clean and bright, except for one section along an edge which has yellowed up.There are two small burn holes along one edge that could easily be disguised by a mount.
