ANTIQUE WRITING SLOPE WITH BRASS FITTINGS, INKWELL & WORKING LOCKA stunning large writing slope with a lovely patina. This really is in amazing condition. This must be one of the nicest writing slopes of it's type available.Size 20" wide x 7" high x 10" deep.Comes with one inkwell.Brass straps.Brass cartouche to the lid (not engraved).Brass key escutcheon.Original pen tray.Working lock with a replacement key.The base is covered in green beize.The cover to the boards is a replacement in green leatherette. The hinges are original.Two matching brass catches for the boards.I have taken 12 photos from every angle so you can enlarge to see the condition. There are various scratches, cracks and marks that are comensurate with age. None of these detract from the overall appeareance of this lovely writing slope.As you can see I have tried to be really honest about the condition however please feel free to ask any questions. I have had to set a reasonable reserve due to the condition of this writing slope.This is a heavy item so I apologise for the postage costs. PLEASE NOTE POSTAGE IS FOR UK ONLY
