This is a beautiful heavy black carved wood mantel clock. Only the face is carved, and the pattern is flowers and vines. It has Roman numerals and keeps perfect time and is in perfect condition. T is a fine brass handle on the top. The clock is 10 inches tall by 7 inches wide, and t are two level moldings at the top and bottom of the clock which are 8 1/2 inches and 9 1/2 inches wide. The back has a large panel which opens easily to reveal a one battery case using a AA battery. This lovely clock has a black metal second hand, and the minute and hour hands are black metal and very ornate. The face of the clock is ivory. An unusual and very beautiful mantel clock to enjoy or give as a gift.
