This is a military artillery shell that was made into a dinner bell or door chime! The shell is made of brass as is the ornate scrolled hanger. The clapper is a pair of bolts (appear to be brass as well). The shell is stamped on the bottom with "75M.M. F.G. MOD. '97', 16,17 and LOT 1285-14 F.A.E.D.B". The whole piece measures 13 & 1/4" inches, the shell itself is 7 & 1/4" inches long. Sales to the U.S.only.and buy with confidence.
