Vintage brass metal Egyptian head button with steel rivets. This is a one piece button with loop shank. Nice floral open metal work. The button measures 1 and 5/8" in diameter. Looking at button from backside you can see the concave circumference is a little out of shape (see scan). This is not noticeable from the front. The button is in over all good condition but could use a light polish.I am not a button collector but rather have inherited this collection along with some very good notes to identify them with. I try my best to describe them based upon the notes that are with them, button books, and the basic knowledge I have of the materials.
