Vulture's Clasp - coursing greyhound by G A Cattley 1896-1978 Oil on board 23 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches approx with frame Signed bottom right G A Cattley 1958 There's a faint scratch to extreme left of painting partly hidden by frame Caused no doubt by careless handling when originally framed Otherwise the condition is great There's loads of info on Vulture's Clasp to rear Some handwritten - and in the form of a label It seems this greyhound was a coursing sensation I believe the painting came from a large country house in North Wales a few years ago when the contents came up for auction It is ready to hang and would grace any wall G A Cattley was a well listed sporting artist Because of size this will be sent via Parcelforce And postage is at cost
