This stunning large vintage porcelain Oriental coy fish and floral motif panel charger from Arita Yaki Japan is certain to enhance the beauty and elegance of any table or decor. This charger is amzing. It is made of porcelain and has a milky white high gloss finish. It round in style with an upwardly tuned rim. The rim is trimmed in a pencil line of cobalt blue. The center of the charger is decorated with gorgeous hand painted panels in deep cobalt blue, rich rust red, and bright seafoam green. Each panel alternates in color and pattern with coy fish and geometric patterns encircling a center floral motif. The back is decorated with alternating leaf and what appers to be flpral patterns. All artwork is nicely detailed and wonderfully colored. It comes with an attached vintahe brass plate hanger for ease of hanging. This stunning piece measures 12.25" across. It is hallmarked on the bottom Arita Yaki Made in Japan. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. T are numerous scratches from age and usage.
