Very RARE! Large Framed Vintage Zula Kenyon Print, Pansies, Purple, Lavender, Pretty WomanThis auction is for a vintage framed Zula Kenyon print. I could not wait to get this cleaned up and listed. It is a wonderful and very rare example of Zula Kenyon's work housed in its original vintage hand carved frame.A woman in a lavender gossamer gown sits looking off into the distance, a pretty sunset in the background, her hair band and dress belt/bow in the same matching shade of lilac. This is definitely a testament to Zula Kenyon's preference of mixing her own pastel colors, as the shades on this print are very unusual, not colors that one normally sees.(When I found this there was a hand written sticker on the frame that said, "Pansies," but whether or not this is the original name of the print, I don't know.)Z. Kenyon signature is in lower left hand corner.T he print is just lovely and in excellent condition. There are a couple of small scratches, mentioned for accuracy but really not noticeable. Please see photos.The frame is made of wood, hand carved (common in the teens and twenties) and original to the print. All four corners are in tact.Old glass has been cleaned, acid free backing added and this is ready to hang.Would make a wonderful Christmas gift (for you or someone else!).Size of frame: 14 ½ x 19 ½ inchesPlease contact me
