Beautiful Large 23" Cherub Putti Lamp with 2 lights, just arrived on a shipment from France. This beautiful piece would be lovely to display for the Holidays and year round. As you can see on the bottom it is carved wood. I know that the leaves and light holders at top are metal and can be removed if you wanted to display the cherub on it's base alone. You would have one small screw hole in the head and tummy but you probably could not see it well or could fill it and touch up over with gold or black. Since it is French it will have to be rewired to use in America, the cord socket has been removed. As with any antique it may have slight imperfections, minor nicks or wear to paint and chalkware, it was well kept. Make us a favorite to check back often. No Reserve in our auctions. More Shipping Info: All of our items are custom packaged according to the items specific needs by our professional packager with 20 years of experience. Shipping furniture is more delicate than small items. Occasionally even the best packing cannot withstand being dropped or handled carelessly by shippers. You must report damaged items to us within 24 hours. All package materials, box, wood, crate, etc. must be retained for damage inspection by all Shippers. For Greyhound shipments, you need to open your package at the terminal in case of damage, so a damage report can be made immediately and claim filed at your terminal if you are unable to do so you are required to return the item for inspection along with all packing materials/box within 5 days. For DHL shipments they require a repair estimate or estimate of non-repair for some items, at their discretion. We have no control over this. This is their policy.
