You are bidding on a large hinged green style Jack Daniel's tin, with an empty bottle and 2 shot glasses. It is stamped "Barringer Wallis and Manners Mansfield England Since 1890" on the bottom. This tin is nicely detailed on all sides (except the bottom). The tin is in close to mint condition. I can only find one thin white scratch about 3/4" long on the top of the box, and along the bottom rim (if sitting displayed) it is discolored, like small rust spots (Please see pictures). Inside is a letter from the distillery on heavy paper, beside a genuine Jack Daniel's bottle (sorry, its empty! ;) and two matching square shaped shot glasses with "Jack Daniel's Whiskey" on the front of each. T is a small translucent drop of what appears to be glue (1/4" x 2/3" & with trail) on the the bottom of the middle right of the letter. This is how it was at time of purchase. I did not want to try to remove it for fear of tearing the letter. In my opinion, it does not distract from the display of this small treasure! Please do not hesitate to ask any questions that you may have. I also have a set of black style (2 of the 3 are hinged) tins (including Barrison Wallis and Manners) with a tip tray up for auction. I love to combine shipping. Just let me know if you are bidding on another item and we can wait until all of the auctions end to figure shipping. read more
