We have a large number of vintage and antique clocks currently listed along with an equally large number of music boxes and other very nice collectibles. Be sure to have a look at our other items ! This is an excellent find of a breathtaking, old, working, chiming, key wind, wood wall clock that was produced about 45 years ago but shows very little signs of having been used. The case is made entirely of wood, oak I believe, and is probably one of the nicest parlor clocks I've ever seen. T are pillars on either side of the case and a fancy carved wood decoration on the bottom complete with three wooden finials. The top is quite ornate too and features a wagon wheel motif, two large finials, and a carved wooden horse on the very top. T is a hinged wooden door in the very front and a glass crystal is inset into it; no cracks or chips that I can see. The glass has a goldtone pinstripe design to it; very nice! The door opens easily to allow access to the two winding arbors located on the dial and for setting the time; great spot for key storage too! The metal dial is features large, easy to read, black Roman numerals marking the hours. The hands are matching and very fancy too.
