This Kwakiutl Style Wolf Dance Mask appears to be a reproduction of a mask used by the Kwakiutl Indians during their winter ceremonies. The mask uses the style and colors common to masks of the Kwakiutl. The mask is articulated with a leather pull that opens the mouth to dramatic effect. The eyes are a type of abalone. The mask measures 16" x 6" x6". An inscription carved into the piece states "62" and "Wolf Cave". Attached is a picture of a comparable museum Kwakiutl mask.Return accepted only if item does not match description and pictures. Buyer pays for return shipping.
